Brettyn Rose is a rising Calgary-based country artist with music rooted in an acoustic
aesthetic, weaved with honest lyrics, powerful vocals, and a hint of sparkle. With her
captivating voice, relatable songwriting, and a sound that is completely her own, this
young Indigenous artist has demonstrated she is a necessary voice in country music.
With 7 single releases, 50,000 digital streams, and more than 350 live performances,
Brettyn ’s music has been featured on Amazon and Spotify editorial playlists, along with
SiriusXM’s The Indigiverse and Top of the Country. In addition to charting on The
Indigenous Music Countdown and the iTunes Canada Country charts, Brettyn has also
been featured on CBC Calgary and CTV Saskatoon and her extensive live show history
includes the Canadian Finals Rodeo (2022), Country Thunder (2023), Big Valley Jamboree (2022), and the Country Music Alberta Awards (2023).
Following the success of her most recent single, 2023’s “Should’ve Been You” – which climbed to #11 on The Indigenous Music Countdown – Brettyn celebrated her third Country Music Alberta Award nomination, a 2024 nod for Horizon Female Artist of The Year. This spring, Brettyn is returning to the studio alongside award-winning producer Matty McKay to record and release 3 new singles, as she continues her blossoming path forward.
